Encountering God

Part of our Vision is to Encounter God. To help facilitate that, we are holding an Evening of Prayer every Wednesday night from 6:30-7:30 pm. Do you have mountains of loneliness, sickness, or fear; coping methods that just aren’t cutting it anymore? Don’t miss out on this opportunity to see those mountains move per Jesus’ words: “For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.” (Matthew 17:20)

Building Community

Church Camping Trip: Harvest Foursquare is getting together with The Rock Church (Pocatello) to camp and worship together at the Mink Creek Group Camp Site. Join us to camp from July 19-22; come and go that weekend if you would prefer to sleep in your own bed but want to enjoy the time together; or simply join us for worship on Sunday morning at 10:00 at the campgrounds. More information about costs and what to bring will be coming soon.

The Story: After a five-week hiatus, on Sunday, July 28 we’ll be kicking off our Sunday School class again reading “The Story”: A condensed form of the NIV Bible “of one continuing story of God and his people.” If you don’t have a copy, you may purchase one for $6.00, or you may order one on Amazon (hard copy, paperback, and even audio). Class starts promptly at 9:00am on Sunday mornings

Church Barbecue: Join your church family, and your bigger church family as Foursquare churches from around Southeast Idaho converge on Jensen’s Grove from 5:00-8:00pm on Friday, August 9. There will be swimming (depending on the amount of water), disc golf, children’s equipment/toys, walking paths, skate park, basketball court, and whatever yard games you want to bring. You’ll get to meet your brothers and sisters who are making a difference in Twin Falls, Pocatello, Idaho Falls, St. Anthony, and Salmon, as well as their pastors. This is a free event, so don’t miss out on this fun opportunity.
