Encounter, Build, Serve
Our vision is to Encounter God, Build Community, and Serve our City, always seen through the lens of our mission: To go and make disciples!
We Encounter God through worship, prayer, and His Word, expecting Him to come through in supernatural and natural ways through His Gifts of the Spirit, such as prophecy, teaching, healing, and helping.
We Build Community through time spent together. This certainly includes worshiping God together on Sunday mornings, but it also includes time spent praying together, eating together, serving together, and playing together.
We Serve Our City by looking for ways to care for the broken, the hurting, the outcasts, or even just those who serve us first, e.g. first responders, government leaders, etc.
At Harvest Foursquare, we want to make your visit a great one – easy, straightforward, and uncomplicated. We are intentionally “user-friendly” for everyone regardless of his or her background. So no matter your beliefs, political persuasion, or lifestyle – we want you to feel welcomed and loved!
What to expect?
What should I expect?
When you visit Harvest Foursquare, our goal is that you would feel welcomed without feeling smothered. Our gathering lasts about 90 minutes. We worship God with a mix of older and newer songs. In addition, we encourage people to express their love for God in a variety of ways – vocally, raising our hands, clapping, and even sitting down and being still while others worship around you. Finally, we have a Biblical message that uses media, humor, drama, music and story, all with the goal of knowing Jesus and becoming more like Him.
What about my children?
You are welcome to keep your children with you during our gathering. However, most place their children in the care of our ministry teams. We offer Preschool ages 2 – 5, and Kid’s Church is available for 1st– 5th grade following our time of worship.
What will happen when I visit for the first time?
If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money. We know that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for awhile—and that’s fine with us! Come in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and see if this is the church for you. We will invite you to fill out a Welcome Card. In exchange for your gift of connection to us, we provide you a gift of a free cup of coffee at a local coffee stand. In addition, we’ll make a small donation in your name to one of several charities you may choose from, including our local domestic violence shelter, our high school FFA, and an international disaster relief organization.
What does Harvest Foursquare believe?
